Brandenburg was established in Chicago, Illinois and has since added five permanent offices. Brandenburg has strong roots in the Midwest, Great Lakes region, and on the East Coast of the United States, but can mobilize to nearly any location in North America.

Brandenburg's home office is located near Chicago's central business district. The staff provides engineering services throughout the Midwest. A 1,500-foot dock wall along the South Branch of the Chicago River provides low cost barge transportation capability. The 15-acre equipment storage and maintenance facility supports Brandenburg's operations throughout the Chicago area.

Brandenburg's office in Gary, Indiana is located on a 35-acre site served by the EJ&E Railroad. Engineering services include electrical design, piping design, and environmental assessment as well as extensive CAD support. The yard area is specifically designed to function as a low cost scrap segregation and preparation facility. Scrap metals are received and shipped by both rail and truck. Yard improvements include a combination truck and rail scale capable of weighing 200-ton vehicles. Portions of the site are used for the storage of construction equipment and materials. Brandenburg operates equipment maintenance, fabrication, and assembly shops at the Gary facility.

Engineering personnel provide electrical, mechanical, structural, and environmental services in the eastern United States. Facility provides low cost scrap metal segregation and preparation. Scrap is received, processed, and shipped by truck and rail from this site. All shipments going into and coming out of the facility are weighed on a combination truck / rail scale.
